Nestled close to Torremolinos and Benalmadena Marina, Carihuela Park offers a charming retreat for those seeking tranquillity and comfort.
La Carihuela is a district with a rich history which was once a traditional fishing village. It has evolved into a cosmopolitan hub while still retaining its charm.
While only glimpses of the old quarter remain the area is now known for its numerous hotels, diverse leisure options and excellent gastronomic offerings. There is a seven kilometre beach which offers a wide range of services and accessibility via a bustling seafront promenade. This lively promenade is lined with restaurants, traditional chiringitos (beach bars) creating a vibrant atmosphere.

WHO ARE WE?
Carihuela Park Co-operative of owners was formed in the late 1980`s by apartment week owners based in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
We are unique in that we are a self regulated Cooperative with the committee and officials elected by the members. The Committee oversees all aspects of the running of the Cooperative and work on a voluntary basis.
The apartments are in La Carihuela, Torremolinos, Spain. Some members own just one week whilst others own considerably more. They make use of their week(s) for themselves and their families.

The
Resort
This well placed resort is only 200 metres from the sea.
It boasts a range of amenities including two swimming pools and a children’s pool, tennis court, a small children’s play area, outside exercise equipment and a bar/restaurant which not only serves snacks but has a “menu of the day and also an a la carte menu. Additionally there is small supermarket on site. The resort is only 8km from Malaga airport and a taxi transfer is not expensive. It is an all year round resort and ownership can rightly be called “your place in the sun”
Carihuela Park Cooperative has eleven apartments on a complex of around 225.
All of the Cooperative apartments are furnished to a very high standard. They are located in the main building which is served by three lifts. There is no reception and access is via a key safe at the apartment. Everything is supplied including bed linen and towels.
Within a short distance from the resort you will find yourself in a vibrant area of shops/bars/restaurants where you will be spoiled for choice.
There are also supermarkets and as previously mentioned on the sea front there are again more dining and shopping opportunities.
Carihuela Park Cooperative is a member based organisation operated on a timeshare basis but is none profit making.
It was formed in the 1980`s and is a Dutch/British venture. The difference between the Cooperative and the larger Timeshare Resorts is that it is controlled by the membership. The committee are all volunteers and are elected by the members.
